Tony Snellgrove Moves On

Tony Snellgrove has officially left the clubs men’s side. After 5 incredible years in charge, he passes the reigns onto his son, Ben, who has also been at the club for a number of years.

During his five year tenure, Tony oversaw 127 games, mustering up an incredible 51% win ratio with 65 victories in that time.

The most incredible achievement will without doubt be the clubs first ever league title as the won the OSL Division 1 in the 2022/23 campaign. We thank Tony for his efforts and appreciate his commitment to the club by agreeing to remain on the Cavaliers committee.

Raising funds for our Club

Our most recent Fundraiser has fallen in the hands of the incredible ‘Women of The Crown’. Nicky Shaw, Samantha Cole, Claire Skiller, Jo Murphy, Leo MD, Sarah Banham and Kayleigh Govern are all walking 100 miles in May. EACH! This is all in aid of The Crown’s three chosen charities. WE HAPPEN TO BE ONE! All donations no matter what size are hugely appreciated not just by us, but by the magnificent 7 as well. The link for donations can be found here;

We have a fund raising committee who work tirelessly for the Club putting on different social events for parents and children all year round. They are always looking for new members to help with all different tasks. Please contact us if you would like to help.

The Crown, Chalgrove have once again kindly nominated for one of their three chosen charities for the calendar year of 2024. Last year, they amazingly raised £1570 for the men’s team, as well as sponsoring our home shirts.

Manager Tony Snellgrove, Secretary Ben Snellgrove and first team Captain Lewis Stubbs are presented for a cheque of £1570 by Nick and Nicky Shaw of The Crown.
